Luxury Living with Massive Pool Views and Beautiful Gardens

Beautiful and spacious apartment!! Best stay in Gozo. Positive: The view from the balcony was excepcional.

Luxurious break Positive: Impeccable cleanliness and luxurious finishing apart from being a large flat. Anazing views and totally quiet. Great communication with owners. Simply a wonderful place. Including the amazing pool area and grounds Negative: Simply nothing

Ultra high-quality property let down by a few niggles. Positive: Top-quality property! Very spacious and can easily take 2 families of four, with two double bedrooms and a quadruple room for kids sporting no less than 4 bunk-beds. There’s also no less than 3 full-on bathrooms. And by full-on I mean not just a toilet and sink but a shower and / or bath too. It’s also very clean and airy. The balcony overlooking the pool area (with chairs and a big, lovely table ideal for breakfast!) boasts incredible views of the Mediterranean and I have no doubt on clear days the Etna can be seen. There’s also a plethora of appliances including, unexpectedly I must say, a dish-washer and washing machine. The pool area is also very clean and the sun beds are carefully spaced to grant more than enough privacy, while the pool itself is beautiful, safe for kids and big enough to accommodate most, if not all, the residents of the whole block. A very nice touch I noticed was that level 1 apartments’ balconies have a ladder directly into the pool – genius! Negative: • There are 2 wall clocks in the living area, beautiful and perfectly matching the décor. But none of them actually worked. One of them I fixed myself, the other may just need a battery, but I did not check. • The hob boasts a modern induction system, yet not all the pots and pans supplied are compatible with it. In short, we could not even fry an egg as no flat pan was induction-compatible. Fortunately after many trials we identified which can be used and which can’t • The bed I slept on was very noisy: just turning round in my sleep woke me up due to the creaking and crackling it provoked. The mattress itself was too soft in parts and lumpy in others, making it the proverbial nightmare for those who suffer from back-ache and, like me, sleep on a high-end orthopaedic mattress. The kids’ beds seemed fine though as both mine didn’t complain • But the weakest area is lighting. The fixtures themselves are very nice and modern, well in tune with the rest of the apartment’s looks and furnishings, but the light bulbs themselves are plain crap. In the living area, you can see the individual LED’s either partly or even just half-lit. In other areas especially the bathrooms, the bulbs are old technology CFL’s rather than LED’s, and take literally ages (3 minutes, no joke) to light up to full illumination, and even then, in certain rooms the light has an unpleasant pinkish tint. In a few more cases the bulbs were just burnt-out completely. Maybe some may say I’m nit-picking, but when paying in excess of 200€ per night for a family of four at a place marketed as luxurious, such things are unacceptable, period.

Positive: Gozo külvárosában fekszik egy gyönyörű vidéken. Ízléses berendezés, jól felszerelt konyha, mosógép, mosogatógép. Tabletta, mosószer, fűszerekből sok féle. Medence 1,2 méterre mélyülő. Lent zuhany és tiszta wc is van. Nyugodt, mikor mi voltunk gyakran használtuk a medencét egyedül. Negative: A terasz, az üveg korlát és az ablakok takarítását is kéne kérni a takarító szolgálattól, mert eléggé piszkos volt. Remélem a szállásadó megfogadja, mert bent minden makulátlanul tiszta volt, ez csak figyelmetlenség lehet. Távozás előtti este kaptam egy kedvesnek szánt távozó üzenetet, amiben benne volt, hogy 10ig nem csak a szállást, de a közösségi tereket is el kell hagyni, mert büntetés várható. Sok felé utaztam már,de ilyet sehol nem tapasztaltam. Kedves, a repülőhöz alkalmazkodó és vendég barát szállásokon jártam hotelekben, apartmanokban egyaránt. A legtöbb helyen még külön megőrzés is van a csomagoknak. Innen 3 óra a reptér busszal (vigyázat ide egy busz jár, abból is óránként egy), de kocsival is 2,5 óra. Szóval rendkívül kellemetlen, ha pont 1 órával később kell indulni a reptérre és azt gyerekekkel a kávézóban, a padon, vagy a reptéren kell elütni. Mi pl. 9 órát utaztunk haza Magyarországra. Szóval ez az üzenet így ebben a formában egyáltalán nem volt számomra vendégközpontú. Ennek ellenére ajánlom a szállást. Kocsival érdemes foglalni, mert mindentől távol van.
