Elegant Studio in Heritage Home - Private Terrace

En été et en forme! Positive: C'est une bâtisse très typique et qui vous transporte dans le temps, dans des petites rues charmantes réservées aux piétons. L'espace extérieur (une cour intérieure au 1er étage, une terrasse partagée, une terrasse privée pour l'appartement tout en haut)à disposition sont un point très positif. La proximité du centre avec les restaurants et les petites boutiques aussi. Les propriétaires ont été TRÈS GENTILS et HONNÊTES! Nous n'avons pas pu rester à cause de nos problèmes de santé et des soucis d'humidité(pluie) et nous avons pu échanger avec une grande bienveillance avec les propriétaires. Negative: L'endroit doit être fabuleux en été, nous avons malheureusement voyagé en février et la pluie ne fait pas bon ménage avec ce type de bâtisse. De plus, les installations conviennent probablement davantage à des personnes en bonnes conditions physiques: le lit est repliable dans une armoire par exemple. Nous n'avons pas rencontré le confort nécessaire car nous avons des problèmes de dos. Les propriétaires ont été très compréhensifs et nous les remercions pour leur gentillesse!!!

A room full of character Positive: We loved the bright characterful room and thoughtful way it was installed. A nice touch was the water filter by the well! Only wish we had come later to make use of the terrace. Negative: Nothing

Positive: Okay to stay for a night or two max to see Citadella and surroundings if you have no luggage. Nice view from the shared rooftop terrace. Inside kitchenette is okay to cook a small breakfast for yourself, TV has Netflix. Negative: Do not come if you are with luggage and for a long stay - no car can access even near the property, lots of walking and stairs especially to room 5 are extremely narrow and dangerous. Very small room, bed is not comfortable at all, both nights we slept very bad. Shower is very small and needs upgrading. Cleaning could be better, dust and hairs found all over the room, after unfolding the bed there is a gap between a wall and the pillows full of dirt. Besides the host was very dismissive, do not bother to contact the numbers provided “to contact the property” as no answer or “I am driving and can’t help”. My parter got unwell a night prior the check-in and we kindly checked if possible to move the dates which was dismissed according to “cancellation policy”, keep that in mind. Overall wouldn’t stay here again, lots of better options nearby.

Positive: Great location, beautiful building, nice terrace. Very quiet nights. Negative: I wish they provided adapters for EU plugs (I did not know Malta still uses UK sockets)

Great place, loved it. Positive: Loved my room at the top with private terrace overlooking town. The whole place has been very thoughtfully renovated. It's not a big room but has good functional space solutions. I found it to be cosy and comfortable. Good bed and pillows...great daylight.....yes please! The terrace is a little haven with a nice view.. with plants and little birds come to visit. Staff helpful and respond to questions swiftly. I would definitely return if in town. Thank you. Negative: Yes, the steps up are a little steep and narrow as listed, so perhaps not suitable to anyone not so steady on their feet.
