Historic Hideaway: 900-Year-Old Converted Studio

Magical appartment on a beautiful island. Positive: Absolutely everything. This place is utterly incredible and the experience staying here deserves an even higher rating that 10/10! It was homely, clean, comfortable, and cosy with excellent use of space. Excellent facilities, the whole appartment is beautifully decorated and it is in an amazing location. The hosts were brilliant - very welcoming and attentive. My favourite part was the courtyard on the 1st floor and the incredible large terrace on the roof. Very spacious, lovely plants and such a cool BBQ with amazing panoramic views of the city and citadel. Sunsets from here are amazing and so is star gazing. The place feels really magical and I loved exploring through the ancient streets to find it. I have stayed in many places across the world and this one really is something special. Negative: There was nothing I didn’t like. It was perfect and I would stay here 100 times over.

Was not able to check in at night Negative: I know we booked at the last half an hour of the stated check in time, but the fact that the check in instructions were not communicated and we ended up not having a place to stay is not great. It was an unplanned night when we missed our ferry and the fact that no one responded to my messages is not acceptable.
